🎉 Could Be Pretty Cool: Celebrating 5 Years!
Hey Creative Bestie!
I'm thrilled to share that Could Be Pretty Cool is celebrating our 5-year anniversary with an exciting rebrand! What started as a pandemic-born podcast production company has evolved into an audio-first think tank dedicated to supporting indie creators and cultural organizations navigating the creative landscape.
This rebrand is a recommitment to our core mission of telling meaningful stories about creative entrepreneurship. The journey hasn't always been straightforward (is it ever?), but I'm incredibly proud of how we've grown and adapted. Our focus remains steadfast on using research, education, and community-building to help creators thrive in an ever-changing creative economy.
NEW EPISODE: "What's Your Brand Story?: The Could Be Pretty Cool 5-Year Anniversary Special"
Our latest episode features the talented professionals who helped bring our rebrand to life! I sat down with Nikkia Adolphe and Ekaette Kern, co-founders of Brandsavor Media and Marketing, who guided our brand storytelling process, and Sasha Revolus, creative director and web designer who translated our vision into a compelling digital presence.
Some highlights from our conversations:
How clarity, authenticity, and scalability form the core elements of effective brand storytelling
The challenges of telling your own company story and the value of outside perspective
Creating a brand narrative that supports business expansion and growth
Finding balance between entrepreneurship and personal fulfillment
Building supportive communities as creative entrepreneurs
This special episode offers valuable insights for any creator or entrepreneur wondering about the importance of intentional brand storytelling. As Nikkia beautifully put it, "Brand storytelling really comes down to more than just words... it's really about capturing the hearts and minds of your mission."

Speaking at the AES International Conference on Breaking Barriers in Audio
I'll be speaking at the inaugural virtual Audio Engineering Society International Conference on Breaking Barriers in Audio taking place April 3-5.
This groundbreaking conference brings together academics, audio professionals, industry veterans, and advocates committed to fostering equity and inclusivity in audio. I'm honored to join this diverse community in elevating critical discussions on gender equity, access, representation, and the participation of underrepresented groups in audio and related fields.
The conference aims to inspire meaningful change, promote cross-disciplinary collaboration, and amplify the voices of those driving progress toward a more inclusive future in audio. If you're interested in attending or learning more, details are available on the AES website.
Thank You for Five Amazing Years!
As we celebrate this milestone and look toward the future, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of the Could Be Pretty Cool journey. Your support, feedback, and engagement have shaped us into what we are today.
The next five years promise even more growth, impact, and collaboration as we continue building resources and community for creative entrepreneurs.
